We are J & J Gardens-we carry fresh veggies picked daily. Our produce is all naturally fertilized. We love to keep our produce basically organic. We are not certified, but are aiming for the Local Food Plus Way. To date we have beans, cucumbers, peas, zuccinni, baby potatoes, onions, garlic, cabbage, carrots, beets, peppers, and tomatoes. We also carry fresh herbs- baby dill, parsley, and summer savory. This produce is all locally grown by us. Sweet corn will be ready soon and hopefully a ample supply of tomatoes. Tomatoes are slowly coming in. They have been so great in flavour. We have also been enjoying the excellent taste in cucumbers. Nothing beats the flavour of fresh garden grown veggies. We are located at the Altona Farmers Market every Sat morning from 10-12 a.m. east of the Altona Mall downtown. Come check us out! Veggies listed does not consist the total varieties we carry!
